Chyler Leigh(*20*) and Nathan West(*20*)’s marriage has flatlined.
The Grey’s Anatomy alum lately shared that she and Nathan—with whom she tied the knot in 2002—had quietly separated.
Chyler revealed their break up—though she did not share the precise timing—throughout an look on the Books That Changed My Life podcast, when host Chris Collins (*20*)requested a few time in her life throughout which she wanted to ask for assist.
“I think getting to a point where my relationship with my ex had reached a point where it was just time,” she stated during the May 12 episode. “It was time to let it go. Even after such a very long time. We’d been collectively—it could be 26 years this 12 months.”
Chyler—who shares youngsters Noah(*20*)23, Taelyn(*20*)19, and Anniston(*20*)17—confirmed the break up was “amicable” and that they are coparenting their three kids.
“We’re doing all the things that we can,” she stated, “but just hit a point where it was like, ‘Okay, what you want and what I want aren’t really lining up anymore.’ And I’d rather us be on good terms and us not harbor the resentment and the anger—all that stuff. “It’s not worth it.”
