DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – Thousands of consumers throughout Central Illinois are without power Monday night as sturdy and extreme storms race throughout the state.

As of 10:45 pm, over 2,600 individuals had been without power in Champaign County, almost 500 in DeWitt and Piatt counties, over 1,500 in Logan County and just below 300 in Macon County.

Statewide, almost 23,000 prospects had been without power.
