CBS News Radio looks back on its 99-year history

CBS News Radio aired its remaining report on Friday to shut out almost a century of protecting tales worldwide.

The community introduced in March it could shut down its radio information service, citing financial troubles and a shift towards digital reporting.

CBS News Radio offered stories on 700 stations throughout the US, in keeping with the corporate — together with WTOP’s top-of-the-hour newscast.
