PBS to Air Documentaries About Luke Evans, Marla Mindelle, Robert ‘Silk’ Mason

Great Performances on PBS has introduced that its Broadway documentary sequence Stagebound is returning simply in time for Tony Awards season. The sequence will observe the journey of three actors at present acting on Broadway: Luke Evans (The Rocky Horror Show), Marla Mindelle (Titanique), and Robert “Silk” Mason (Cats: The Jellicle Ball).

Each episode will observe every actor’s Broadway journey, from rehearsal, to costume fittings, to press appearances and opening evening. Great Performances: Stagebound can be out there to stream at PBS.orgthe PBS appand the Great Performances Facebook and YouTube channels.

The sequence will premiere May 12 at 12 PM ET with Mindelle’s episode, following her journey because the creator and star of Titanique. Evans’ episode will go stay May 19 at 12 PM, detailing his transformation from movie star to Frank-N-Furter in Rocky Horror. Mason’s episode can be out there May 26 at 12 PM, showcasing the ballroom performer making ready to make their Broadway debut as Mistah Mistoffeless in Cats: The Jellicle Ball.

Last season’s Stagebound episodes—that includes Jasmine Rogers, Andrew Durand, Daniel Dae Kimand Jinkx Monsoon—are available to stream now.
