The Johnson County pastor of the most important United Methodist church within the nation introduced Thursday he has launched a bid for US Senate.
Church of the Resurrection Pastor Adam Hamilton discussed his candidacy throughout a information convention Thursday morning in Prairie Village.

The Kansas Secretary of State’s website exhibits 4 Democrats have filed to run: Damon Anderson, Jason Hart, Kevin Latz and Michael “Mike” Soetaert. Marshall is the lone Republican to have filed as of April 29.
Candidates in Kansas races have till June 1 to file their candidacy forward of the first election on Aug. 4.
