William Daniels, 99, and Bonnie Bartlett, 96, Open Up About ‘Non-Spoken’ Agreement in ‘Open Marriage’

William Daniels and spouse Bonnie Bartlett have been married for almost 75 years — and in any case that point collectively, the beloved Hollywood couple is sharing secrets and techniques to their lasting relationship.

Bartlett previously told Fox News Digital in 2023 that the beginning of their marriage during that period of openness was “very painful,” including that it “didn’t work well” regardless of it being a time in New York when folks have been embracing their sexual freedom.

While Bartlett did not get into particular particulars throughout their interview with the Daily Mailshe mentioned that she opened up about it in her 2023 memoir Middle of the Rainbowincluding: “There have been times…on both sides.”

She mentioned that their scenario was “non-spoken,” explaining, “Bill and I never sit down and make rules. We never sit down and talk about these things. We just don’t. We just live our lives. And if he’s away for a year, he’s away for a year. Our lives just went on, but we never got unhinged…. We never got unhinged, but our lives did go in different directions occasionally.”

Daniels, 99, and Bartlett, 96, performed George Feeny and Dean Bolander, respectively, on the beloved family sitcom Boy Meets World. They have been married on June 30, 1951.

“I wouldn’t be with anyone else in my life than this woman sitting next to me,” the Emmy Award-winning actor informed the Daily Mail.

Giving the publication an update on their health Following Daniels’ 99th birthday in March and forward of Bartlett’s 97th in June, the actress mentioned, “Physically, you know, we’re a little bit, hampered, I guess? My vision isn’t good and… I can walk, I mean, I can walk.”

“Bill has trouble, some trouble walking, and his memory isn’t as good as mine, but we’re fine, and we’re happy, and we have this wonderful family of ours right near us,” she added. “Our son Michael and his family. And they’re right near us and they take care of us, as well as we have two ladies that take care of us. One does business and one does care and we have awfully good help.”
