Packers hire Cam Accord as their special teams coordinator


Green Bay has discovered its new special teams coordinator.

The Packers plan to hire Cam Accord as their special teams coordinator, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported on Friday afternoon, per sources. The group later introduced the information.

Achord, 39, beforehand served as the New York Giants assistant special teams coach for the final two seasons. When the Giants employed head coach John Harbaugh, Achord was not retained to remain on New York’s teaching employees.

The Packers now discover Rich Bisaccia’s substitute after he stepped down from the function on Feb. 17. Bisaccia spent 4 seasons in Green Bay.

In 2025, the Packers averaged 5.6 yards per punt return, which was the bottom within the NFL. Green Bay punter Daniel Whelan set a franchise single-season document for gross scoring common (51.7) and internet scoring common (43.9).

With the Packers hiring Accord, he’s now the NFL’s last coordinator to be employed this teaching cycle.
