Several fires have been burning in Lowell, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, sending smoke into the sky.
Lowell police urged the general public to keep away from Bridge Street from sixth to Willard streets, citing street closures.
It wasn’t instantly clear if anybody was harm. Firefighters have been attacking the flames with hoses.
Flames have been seen coming from the roof of a two-story constructing. Another constructing appeared charred, with firefighters attacking the flames.

At least two homes caught fireplace in Lowell, Massachusetts, on Tuesday, bringing out dozens of firefighters to battle the flames.
The fire-damaged buildings seemed to be on Bridge, May and Wachusett streets.
