Live-Action Trailer Shows Dwayne Johnson’s Maui

Disney launched a brand new trailer for the live-action “Moana” movie on Monday, providing a recent take a look at the most recent extension of one of many firm’s most dear franchises.

Disney’s live-action “Moana” is directed by Emmy and Tony Award winner Thomas Kail (“Hamilton”); produced by Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia, Beau Flynn, Hiram Garcia and Lin-Manuel Miranda; and govt produced by Kail, Scott Sheldon, Charles Newirth and Auliʻi Cravalho, who voiced Moana within the animated movies “Moana” and “Moana 2.”

“Moana” options unique songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, Opetaia Foaʻi and Mark Mancina, and an unique rating composed by Mancina.

The movie opens solely in theaters on July 10, 2026.
