Glass City Marathon road closures set for Saturday, Sunday

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – The Mercy Health Glass City Marathon is about to race by means of the Toledo space in the course of the closing weekend in April.

Road closures for race weekend are set to start Saturday, April 25.

SYLVANIA ROAD CLOSURES

The following streets shall be closed to site visitors on Sunday, between the hours of seven:30 am and 11:30 am as runners cross by means of the realm.

• 7:30 am – 11:30 am – Sylvania Ave, Eastbound site visitors closed from King to Corey
• King – No Eastbound flip to Sylvania Ave
• Sylvania – No Eastbound site visitors from King Rd to Holland Sylvania
• Farmbrook –Roads all through Farmbrook closed. Sylvania Twnshp Police shall be patrolling to assist residents depart if required.
• McCord – Intersections at Sylvania Avenue and the UP Trail shall be closed to inbound site visitors
• Holland-Sylvania – Intersections at Sylvania Avenue and the UP Trail shall be closed to inbound site visitors
• Corey – from Sylvania Avenue to Central Avenue shall be closed to southbound site visitors

OTTAWA HILLS ROAD CLOSURES

The following streets shall be closed to site visitors on Sunday, between the hours of 6:30 am and 11:00 am as runners cross by means of the realm.

• Sunday | Relay, Marathon, Half Marathon

• Talmadge – 6:30 am to 9:30 am – between Indian and Bancroft

• Central – 7:00 am to 9:15 am from Reynolds to Corey
• Richards – 7:15 am to 12:00 pm — Closed to Northbound site visitors from Dorr, permit Southbound

• Roads south of Bancroft may have eastbound egress to Edgevale accessible.
