Dr. Ruth Chen (proper), professor of apply in biomedical and chemical engineering in the College of Engineering and Computer Science, obtained an honorary physician of science diploma from Board of Trustees Chair Jeffrey M. Scruggs.
Dr. Mantosh Dewan (proper), president of Upstate Medical University and SUNY Distinguished Service Professor, obtained an honorary physician of science diploma from Haynie.
Joanne M. Mahoney ’87, L’90 (proper), president of the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, obtained an honorary physician of legal guidelines diploma from Haynie.
David Syverud (proper) accepted an honorary doctor of laws degree on behalf of his father, Kent Syverud, the twelfth Chancellor and president of Syracuse University, from Scruggs.
