2 children found dead inside burning car in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO – The our bodies of two children had been found inside a burning car in San Antonio on Friday morning.
What we all know:
According to San Antonio Assistant Police Chief Jessie Salame, an individual strolling their canine known as between 5 and 6 am to report a burning car in the car parking zone of a warehouse in the five hundred block of Richland Hills Drive.
Salame mentioned that investigators found the our bodies of a 5-year-old little one and a 7-year-old little one inside the small car after the hearth was extinguished.
Police have arrested the children’s mom, recognized as 34-year-old Marlene Vidal, of Edinburg, Texas, and charged her with capital homicide.

“We have statements made by the suspect, along with surveillance video and evidence from the scene, that indicate she was solely responsible for the death of these two children,” Salame mentioned.
Police mentioned that Vidal, who’s from South Texas, seems to have household connections in San Antonio.

Salame mentioned the investigation into the motive continues.
“However, there are indications that mental health issues may have played a role,” Salame mentioned.
