Power outage restored in Mount Pleasant after tree fell on power line
CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) — A big tree leaning on power traces prompted power outages Thursday morning in areas of Highway 41 and US 17.
Officials mentioned the impacted areas included US 17 and Highway 41, on the Winnowing and Bessemer areas, close to Laurel Hill Park in Mount Pleasant, round 4:40 Thursday morning.
Mount Pleasant police mentioned that Dominion Energy crews have been working on the tree and power traces and suggested drivers to anticipate delays and use warning in the realm.
Just earlier than 7:30 Thursday morning, power was restored and the scene was cleared.
