STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball staff defeated the DePaul Blue Demons, 10-1 in a five-inning run rule to safe a collection sweep. The Huskies transfer to 6-3 in BIG EAST play and 13-22 general this season.

Freshman Caprice Bohmer made her 14th begin of the season within the collection finale for the Huskies. Bohmer went the gap within the circle, tossing all 5.0 innings, giving up a run on three hits with 5 strikeouts.
