Buffalo Bills to host Detroit Lions in 2026 home opener at Highmark Stadium
A brand new period of Buffalo Bills soccer begins underneath the lights.
The NFL introduced that the Bills will host the Detroit Lions in Week 2 of the 2026 season on Thursday Night Footballmarking the primary sport to be performed at Highmark Stadium.
The nationally televised matchup on Sept. 17 will stream solely on Prime Video. It will even be out there domestically over-the-air in Buffalo (channel TBD).
After years of anticipation, Bills Mafia will formally welcome soccer into the franchise’s new home in primetime as two of the league’s high contenders meet on the nationwide stage. This would be the second consecutive season Buffalo’s home opener is performed in primetime.
