A lady was lifeless and a person arrested following a two-vehicle crash that left an SUV upside down and principally submerged in the wetlands in Huntington Beach on Wednesday evening, April 15, authorities mentioned.

Both drivers had been northbound on Pacific Coast Highway, south of Warner Avenue, when the motive force of a BMW sedan rear-ended a Kia Soul about 10:40 p.m., Huntington Beach police officer Jessica Cuchilla mentioned.

The Kia Soul was pushed off the roadway and into the wetlands, she mentioned.

The Soul driver, a 53-year-old Long Beach girl, was taken to a hospital however died. She was not publicly recognized pending notification of her kin.
