Senior prank under investigation at Newton High School

NEWTON, Kan. (KWCH) – A senior prank that resulted in constructing injury is now under investigation in Newton.

USD 373 Director of Communications Carly Stavola mentioned early Monday morning, 11 not too long ago graduated college students unlawfully gained entry to Newton High School in what seemed to be a part of a senior prank.

“Unfortunately, the incident involved intentional damage to the interior of the building and went beyond what would be considered harmless misconduct,” Stavola mentioned.

The incident was captured on the college’s safety digicam system and has been referred to native legislation enforcement for investigation. The district mentioned it could not be releasing additional particulars concerning the incident.
