Amy’s Kitchen recalls more than 184,000 cans of soup – NBC Bay Area
Amy’s Kitchen is recalling more than 184,000 cans of soup that had been bought in over 20 states and elements of Canada as a result of a defect with the cans that places the soup in danger of spoiling.
The voluntary recall from the favored ready-to-eat vegetarian meals model impacts 15,350 instances of its Organic Lentil Soup – Light in Sodium as a result of a producing defect affecting the can’s easy-open pull tab, in line with an Amy’s spokesperson.
The recall was initiated on June 22, 2026, and continues to be ongoing.
“The defect could cause the product to spoil, and the decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the quality and safety of our products,” the spokesperson stated.
No different Amy’s Kitchen merchandise or lot numbers are affected by this recall.
The recalled soup was distributed in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
