Metallica returns to Connecticut for two shows this fall

The band can be performing an “intimate” pair of shows at Mohegan Sun Arena on Nov. 19 and 21 to have a good time the world’s twenty fifth anniversary. Advertised as a “No Repeat Weekend,” the band won’t repeat setlists between the two evenings. Suicidal Tendencies will open on Nov. 19 and Spiritbox will open on Nov. 21.

“We hope to see you there as we join a long list of artists who have performed at the arena, including Bruce Springsteen, Prince, Lady Gaga, Chris Rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Billy Joel, Beyoncé and many more. Twenty-five years and over 3,000 events later, we’re honored to help celebrate this milestone,” Metallica’s web site reads.

A bona fide stadium act, the performances are at present scheduled to be Metallica’s solely East Coast performances of 2026 and its solely US shows happening exterior of its upcoming run at The Sphere in Las Vegas.
