Insiders Reveal if Dennis Quaid & Meg Ryan Are ‘On Speaking Terms Again’ After Son’s Wedding

After Jack Quaid’s April 18th wedding ceremony to The Boys costar Claudia Doumit, it appears exes Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan could also be again on good phrases.

Insiders informed InTouch Weekly that the exes are “back on speaking terms again… If and when they become grandparents in the next few years, they’re able to sit down and be civil to one another.”

While this “seemed impossible just a few years ago,” Jack reportedly “never gave up on the idea that his parents could put the past behind them and reach a new level of understanding.”

The insider added, “It took a while, but his disciplined, even-handed approach to dealing with both of them has finally paid off, right as he’s ready to start a family of his own!”

For those that do not know, Dennis and Ryan first fell in love whereas filming their 1987 film Innerspace. They married in 1991, and inside a 12 months, they welcomed a son named Jack. However, after almost a decade of marriage, their relationship came to an end in 2000 amid allegations of infidelity on each side (which each of them denied, however later alluded to).

In a earlier interview with Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?Quaid talked about his and Ryan’s marriage, saying, “Meg is really such a great, sweet person, and really talented, and deserved all of her success. I don’t regret anything about my marriage to Meg. We got Jack Quaid out of it, who is really going on to maybe I think eclipse both of us.”
