Bluesky Continues to Have Connectivity Problems
If you’ve got had hassle accessing Bluesky this morning, you are not alone. The social media platform has been experiencing intermittent interruptions to service on Thursday. That’s obvious from a glance at Downdetectorwhich exhibits hundreds of consumer stories of points with Bluesky beginning at about 1:51 am ET, and actually kicking off at 2:21 am ET. (Disclosure: Downdetector is owned by Lifehacker dad or mum firm Ziff Davis.)
While my Bluesky feed does appear to be working right now, there are nonetheless points inflicting downtime for customers and components of the platform, together with loading notifications. As of this text, Bluesky’s standing web page reads “We are investigating an incident with service in one of our [regions],” and “We are experiencing further issues. We appreciate your continued patience.” Bluesky had previously stated that the issue had been fixedso the platform could also be having hassle isolating the foundation reason for the issue.
What do you suppose up to now?
To that time, it is not clear what precisely is inflicting this downtime throughout Bluesky. That stated, this may doubtless be resolved in due time. Websites often go down for one cause or one other, and other than an assault or catastrophic subject, the supply is normally found comparatively rapidly, and a repair applied shortly after. My guess is by some level as we speak—maybe by the point you learn this text—Bluesky might be again up and working as normal.
