Trump declares Iran war is ‘very close to being over’

“I think it’s close to being over, yeah. I see it as very close to being over,” Trump instructed FOX Business anchor Maria Bartiromo in an interview that may air on “Mornings with Maria” on Wednesday.

Trump justified his entry into the Middle East battle, telling “Mornings with Maria” it was needed to disarm Iran’s nuclear capabilities.
“I had to have fun because if I didn’t do that, right now, you’d have Iran with a nuclear weapon,” Trump stated. “And if they had a nuclear weapon, you’d be calling everybody over there ‘sir,’ and you don’t want to do that.”
