Severe climate is within the forecast for the afternoon and night, with a MEDIUM THREAT (Level 3 out of 5) for a big portion of Region 8.
The storms may start as early as 1 pm and final as late as 7 pm

Our important threats are giant hail and robust winds. There’s a low risk for tornadoes and a really low risk for flooding in locations that see domestically heavy rain.

Any hail, damaging wind, and tornadoes that kind have the potential to be on the stronger facet.
