Outlook goes DOWN with hundreds of users unable to access emails in UK
OUTLOOK is down for Microsoft users as hundreds of folks throughout the UK report points with their e-mail accounts.
More than 700 Brits have reported points with the app as of 11am on Monday, April 27.
The majority of issues with the app relate to logging in, with greater than 60% of users affected.
Users have taken to social media to vent their frustration with the service.
One mentioned on X: “It’s ‘driving me crazy.”
Another added: “It’s so annoying.”
A 3rd individual mentioned: “How long will it take to fix it please.”
More than 20% of users are reporting points with the app, whereas an extra 10% have reported issues with receiving messages.
Nearly 800 folks have reported points to Downdetector, an internet site that tracks and experiences outages for on-line providers.
One person on outlined their points on the location.
They wrote: “Was informed it couldn’t log me in and to confirm one other means, then it informed me to add one other e-mail which I did.
“That email did the exact same thing. No authentication is working apparently. I’m now locked out of my two main accounts.”
Another individual wrote on Downdetector: “App not working, getting notifications of emails however not loading once I click on on them. Uninstalled app and reinstalled, now can not get my accounts to authenticate.
“On PC I can see emails, however obtain ‘not despatched’ responses once I ship emails, which once I look on the internet model I can see have despatched.
“The app has been glitchy for about 4 days this is the 2nd time I have had to unistall and reinstall.”
