Before the Giants traded DT Dexter Lawrence to the Bengals, OLB Brian Burns made headlines after expressing that he wished the staff to get an extension completed for the defensive sort out. When showing on The Exhibit podcast with Josina AndersonBurns mentioned he wish to see the staff signal a veteran to fill the outlet left by Lawrence.
