Iowa coach Ben McCollum praises Illinois’ Kylan Boswell as unsung hero
Iowa Hawkeyes males’s basketball head coach Ben McCollum talked to the media on Friday forward of dealing with the Illinois Fighting Illini within the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, and McCollum stated the Illinois participant that does not get sufficient consideration is guard Kylan Boswelleven calling him the workforce’s “alpha” and “unsung hero.”
“Probably essentially the most unsung hero of their total program is Boswell” McCollum stated. “I mean, he is the edge that they need. He’s the alpha. I mean, he’s good. He’s physical. He gets downhill. I have defends. He’s got great energy. I think he’s the leader of that defense.”
This season, Boswell He was named to the five-man Big Ten Conference All-Defensive Team, together with Nebraska’s Sam Hoiberg and three Michigan gamers. Boswellwho’s in his second season at Illinois, is averaging 12.9 factors, 4.0 rebounds, and three.1 assists per sport.
