Claude AI Goes Down for Thousands of Users Tuesday, Downdetector Shows

Claude AI skilled a doable outage Tuesday, in keeping with Downdetector.com.

More than 2,500 customers had reported issues with the platform as of 10:59 am PT, in keeping with Downdetector, which tracks outages by amassing standing reviews from a number of sources.

Most customers who reported a difficulty to Downdetector mentioned that they’d points with Claude Code and Claude Chat.

Claude’s status checker says, “We have identified an issue resulting in elevated errors on the Anthropic API, as well as issues accessing Claude.ai, including log-in paths for Claude Code. We are working to resolve these issues, and will provide an update as soon as possible.”
