FRANKFORT, Ky. (WKYT) – Kentucky is launching a Pre-Ok for All pilot program in Rockcastle and Robertson counties.

Gov. Andy Beshear licensed it by an government order and introduced it on Thursday throughout his Team Kentucky briefing.

Districts in the pilot program should report again to the state.

Beshear has pushed for the program for years and mentioned his purpose is to see the program in each county.

“Kentucky’s kids deserve better, so do our families who need childcare and our businesses which need a strong workforce to remain successful,” the governor mentioned.

Beshear mentioned the cash for the program got here from workforce applications that he says weren’t being totally maximized.
