A 3-year-old Southern California tee ball participant was so into his Kendrick Lamar walk-up song that he appeared to neglect all about his at-bat.
Melissa Roque’s son Vince went viral after video of his game-stopping stride onto the sphere to “tv off” was posted to social media. Dragging the bat behind him, Vince made no transfer towards dwelling plate and as an alternative casually danced onto the infield as his opponents and coaches watched.
“He’s always dancing. He’s just a character,” Roque instructed NBC Los Angeles on Thursday. “There’s always something new with him every day.”
She stated she acquired a powerful feeling that she ought to begin recording at that second, particularly because it was her first recreation.
“I just saw that hip swing and the arm go up, and I said, ‘Oh yeah, there he goes,'” Roque stated. “I heard coach saying, ‘Vince. Vince. Vince.’ And in my head, I’m like, I need to redirect him too… But I couldn’t contain my laughter.”
His mother stated she’s in the end glad she “let him be” and that the folks on-line had been so supportive of his shining character.
