Ronald Acuna Jr. Trolls Braves Teammate Ozzie Albies After 2026 World Baseball Classic Matchup

Atlanta Braves teammates Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ozzie Albies confronted one another within the World Baseball Classic on Friday, and Acuña emerged victorious as Venezuela defeated Netherlands 6-2 to open Pool D action.

After the sport, Acuña had a message for Albies.

Acuña had a double and a pair of runs from the leadoff spot. Albies struggled at cleanup, going 0-for-4.

Both gamers appeared to have enjoyable through the sport.

Those two weren’t the one present or former Braves on the sphere.

Chadwick Tromp, a catcher within the Braves group who performed with the massive league group from 2022-25, was Netherlands’ beginning catcher.

Netherlands’ supervisor is Braves legend (and soon-to-be Baseball Hall of Famer) Andruw Jones.

Both groups play once more on Saturday. Netherlands will face Nicaragua, and Venezuela will tackle Israel.
