Javier Mascherano leaves Inter Miami, 4 months after winning the MLS championship

MIAMI (AP) — Javier Mascherano won’t proceed as coach of Inter Miami, a stunning choice that comes simply 4 months after main Lionel Messi’s membership to the MLS championship.

Mascherano, who was a teammate of Messi in Barcelona and in the Argentina nationwide crew earlier than reuniting with the star as a coach, he’s leaving for private causes, the crew reported.

“I want to inform everyone that, for personal reasons, I have decided to end my time as coach of Inter Miami,” Mascherano stated in statements launched by the crew. “First of all, I want to thank the institution for the trust they placed in me, each of the employees who are part of the club for the collective effort, but especially the players, who were the ones who allowed us to live unforgettable moments.”
