Haunted Mansion Facing Extended Downtime at Magic Kingdom

Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom has now been closed for 2 days, with no signal of reopening as of 11:30am on Sunday, May 3 2026.

The attraction didn’t function at all on Saturday, May 2, and stays offline as we speak. Disney has not given an estimated reopening time.

Guests checking the My Disney Experience app are seeing a private message from Magic Kingdom’s Vice President, Sarah Riles:

“On behalf of the entire team at Magic Kingdom, I’d like to apologize that Haunted Mansion is currently unavailable. Our Cast Members are working diligently to get the attraction up and running again, and we are sorry you are not able to experience this attraction at this time. I hope you will enjoy some of our other attractions during your experience in the park today.”
