Pop Culture Jeopardy! is again for Season 2, this time on Netflixbecause it brings a recent spin to the traditional trivia format with SNL comic Colin Jost as host. The collection blends the brainy problem of conventional Jeopardy! With the fast-moving, unpredictable world of popular culture, as contestants compete in groups of two. Cheaper by the Cousin came in with $2,600, wagered everything, and came close with an answer of “Empire of State or,” ultimately walking away with $0 in what Jost called a “full circle second.”
Jeopardazed and Confused walked into Final Jeopardy with $12,600, answered correctly with a wager of $6,700 (tapping into the 6-7 viral trend, which made Jost facepalm) and a total of $19,300. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to beat One Baddie After Another, who came in with a $27,200 lead. They not only answered correctly but wagered nothing, bringing them to first place, a move Jost jokingly called “weak,” adding, “however you’ve got received.”
