2.7 magnitude earthquake shakes Monroe County, felt across Metro Detroit
Another earthquake was felt in southeast Michigan, a number of days in the past, in Ontario
MONROE COUNTY, Mich. – A small earthquake shook elements of Monroe County.
According to the United States Geological Survey, a 2.7 magnitude quake struck close to Carleton on Monday (May 4) at about 5:32 pm, at a depth of roughly 5.2 kilometers.
Some residents across Metro Detroit reported feeling the tremor.
The quake got here simply days after a barely stronger 2.9-magnitude earthquake close to Amherstburg, Ontario, on April 26, which was additionally felt across the area.
