Baby elephant Linh Mai debuts at National Zoo for Earth Day – NBC4 Washington


A brand new elephant calf makes its debut at the National Zoo on Tuesday, in celebration of Earth Day!

The Asian elephant, Linh Mai, is the primary one born at the zoo in practically 25 years.

Linh Mai was born in February, and since then, the elephant enclosure has been closed so she will be able to bond together with her herdmates.

But lastly, the 500-pound calf is able to meet her adoring followers and seem on the Elephant Cam.
