WR Robert Woods indicators one-day deal to retire with Rams
LOS ANGELES — The Rams have signed broad receiver Robert Woods to a one-day contract to retire with the group, the workforce introduced Tuesday.
“After 27 unforgettable years of pouring my coronary heart into this sport, and 13 unbelievable years within the NFL — It is time for me to step away from enjoying the game that has given me the whole lot,” Woods wrote when saying his retirement.
Woods, who performed 12 NFL seasons, spent 5 years with the Rams (2017-21). Woods gained Tremendous Bowl LVI with the 2021 Rams however tore his ACL throughout the common season. He loved his greatest seasons with the Rams, eclipsing 1,000 yards in a season twice (1,219 in 2018 and 1,134 in 2019).

The receiver final performed in a regular-season sport in 2024. He signed a one-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025 and briefly was a member of their apply squad.
Woods, a 2013 second-round choose by the Buffalo Payments, appeared in 171 NFL video games with 4 groups (Payments, Rams, Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans).
He finishes his profession with 683 catches for 8,233 yards and 38 touchdowns.
