Tracking lake-effect snow: Winter Weather Advisory issued for portions of Northeast Ohio

Another spherical of lake-effect snow is impacting a portion of Northeast Ohio, which is why the National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Ashtabula and Trumbull counties.
The Winter Weather Advisory shall be in impact from 5 pm Monday till 2 pm Tuesday.
Initially, the National Weather Service had issued a Winter Storm Watch earlier than it was downgraded to its present standing as a Winter Weather Advisory.
According to the NWS, the impacted areas might see “total snow accumulations between 2 and 5 inches, with the greatest accumulations at the higher elevations. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.”
This chilly snap will not be right here for lengthy, although, because the prolonged climate forecast reveals temperatures climb again to the 50s and 60s by the top of the week as spring formally begins this Friday.
