Students evacuated after a firearm incident at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights


PARMA HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) – A heavy police presence is at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights on Monday afternoon for an incident that occurred round dismissal.

Dozens of police cruisers and at least one ambulance encompass the varsity.

According to the varsity district, at roughly 2:10 pm an incident involving a firearm occurred.

Law enforcement and fireplace personnel reply instantly and stay on web site.

VFHS, positioned at 9999 Independence Blvd., is a part of the Parma City School District.

The faculty mentioned the state of affairs is contained, and there’s no ongoing risk to college students or workers.

As a part of security protocols, the varsity is working underneath heightened supervision, and college students have been evacuated to the designated reunification web site at Cuyahoga Community College (Tri-C).
