Seth MacFarlane Has “No Plan” To Make ‘Ted’ Season 3


It feels like unhealthy information bears for Ted followers, ace Seth MacFarlane feedback on the way forward for the Peacock sequence past its sophomore season, now out there to stream.

The creator and voice of the eponymous foul-mouth teddy bear admitted he has “no plan” for a Season 3 of the present, citing “really expensive” manufacturing price of the prequel sequence of Ted (2012) and Ted 2 (2015).

“What I kept hearing [from Peacock and Universal] was, ‘Listen, the show is really expensive to produce and there’s no way to do it at a lower cost,’” he advised TheWrap. “So I mentioned, ‘All proper, I hear you loud and clear.’ So I wrote the final scene with Max [Burkholder] strolling right into a gymnasium, presumably popping out like Mark Wahlberg within the first Ted movie.”

MacFarlane added, “So [showrunners] Brad Walsh and Paul Corrigan and I kind of painted ourselves into a corner. Is there a way to do it? There’s always a way to do anything. But at the moment, it might take some narrative acrobatics. There’s no plan that I’ve heard of at the moment to do Season 3.”

A supply near manufacturing says no resolution has been made relating to a Season 3 renewal. However, an animated spinoff is coming to Peacock later this yr.
