Richard Gadd BBC HBO Show With Jamie Bell
Tension abounds within the trailer for Richard Gadd‘s Half Man, which dropped Tuesday as buzz continues to construct for the BBC–HBO drama launching April 23.

Gadd is a person reworked from his semi-autobiographical (controversially so) Netflix smash Baby Reindeer, with biceps aplenty. He performs Ruben to Bell’s Niall. When Ruben turns up at Niall’s wedding ceremony, all the things appears totally different. He is on edge. Shifty. Not performing like himself. And quickly, an explosion of violence takes place that catapults the viewers again by means of their lives, from the ’80s to the current day.
The anticipated present created by Gadd stars Mitchell Robertson (Curfew, Mayflies) and Stuart Campbell (SAS Rogue Heroes, The Winter King), who performed Niall (Robertson) and Ruben (Campbell) of their youthful years. Neve McIntosh (Tin Star, Chemistry of Death) is seen in her position as Niall’s mom Lori alongside Marianne McIvor (Screw, The Nest), who performs Ruben’s mom Maura.
Half Man will drop April 23 on HBO and the next day on the BBC.
Half Man is created, written and govt produced by Gadd. Sophie Gardiner and Anna O’Malley are the manager producers, alongside Gaynor Holmes for the BBC and Gavin Smith for BBC Scotland. The collection is directed by Alexandra Brodski and Eshref Reybrouck. EPs for Mam Tor Productions are Tally Garner and Morven Reid.
