Pauls Valley High School principal injured in school shooting
The school principal is injured, and one individual is detained following a shooting at Pauls Valley High School, based on the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office.
GCSO mentioned principal, Kirk Moore, was shot in the leg and airlifted to the hospital.
Authorities mentioned no college students have been injured in the shooting.
The school confirmed that there isn’t any ongoing menace right now.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, Pauls Valley Police and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol are responding to the scene.
In an announcement, authorities mentioned,
“Today, an incident involving a reported shooting occurred in the lobby area of Pauls Valley High School.
All students have been confirmed safe and accounted for. Principal Kirk Moore sustained injuries during the incident and is currently listed in stable condition.
Law enforcement responded promptly and secured the scene. There is no ongoing threat at this time. Suspect has been detained.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.”
After-school packages canceled
The Donald W. Reynolds Recreation Center mentioned that because of the shooting at Pauls Valley High School, 8 after-school actions are canceled.
The middle mentioned that every one Pauls Valley Public Schools buses are on maintain, and the Whitebead School District will not be bringing their buses both.
The middle requested mother and father to select their youngsters up straight from their school.
