NMB honors Vanna White with personalized golf bag, plaque

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WPDE) — The City of North Myrtle Beach honored native Vanna White on Tuesday.

She was honored on the Surf Golf & Beach Club with a personalized golf bag and a personalized engraved plaque on a devoted locker within the girls’ locker room.

Officials stated the formal recognition by Mayor Baldwin highlighted her Wheel of Fortune profession, her philanthropic influence, together with greater than $2 million raised for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and her lasting connection to town.

“For more than four decades, Vanna has brought joy to millions while continuing to make North Myrtle Beach proud,” town stated in a Facebook publish.
