A struggling Auburn team under first-year head coach Larry Vickers is next up for No. 5 LSU for a second straight road game. LSU (21-3, 7-3 SEC) saw its winning streak of seven games evaporate in the second half at No. 4 Texas Thursday night as it was outscored 37 to 28 coming down the stretch to lose 77-64.

“You get in the film room (Friday) and then you get ready for a very good Auburn team that pretty much has the athletes that pressure the ball and get after it defensively,” Mulkey said after LSU’s loss to Texas.
