Oviedo, which stands in solidarity with “the staff, the coaching staff and the fans of Rayo Vallecano”, emphasizes that this decision “represents obvious damage both from a sporting, organizational and economic point of view” for the Carbayona entity.

“We understand that there are some rules of the game and they have been broken. Every game we have at home we have to pass LaLiga tests and there are sanctions, so this situation is shameful. It clearly shows the state our competition is going through, all the rules have been broken,” said Real Oviedo’s sporting director, Roberto Suárez, in statements shared by the club.
