CULVER CITY, California – February 27, 2026 – Today, Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios introduced that manufacturing has begun on the brand new Prime Video collection, god of conflictand shared a first-look picture of stars Ryan Hurst and Callum Vinson within the roles of Kratos and Atreus, the long-lasting characters they painting within the live-action adaptation of PlayStation’s massively in style historic mythology-themed god of conflict online game. The god of conflict collection is co-produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios in affiliation with PlayStation Productions and Tall Ship Productions, and has obtained a two-season order.

The god of conflict collection storyline follows father and son Kratos and Atreus as they embark on a journey to unfold the ashes of their spouse and mom, Faye. Through their adventures, Kratos tries to show his son to be a greater god, whereas Atreus tries to show his father learn how to be a greater human.

Previously introduced solid members embrace Ryan Hurst as Kratos, Callum Vinson as Atreus, Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Ed Skrein as Baldur, Max Parker as Heimdall, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Thor, Teresa Palmer as Sif, Alastair Duncan as Mimir, Jeff Gulka as Sindri and Danny Woodburn as Brok.

Ronald D. Moore (Battlestar Galactica, Outlander) serves as showrunner, govt producer, and author of god of conflict. Additional govt producers embrace Maril Davis, Cory Barlog, Naren Shankar, Matthew Graham, Asad Qizilbash, Jeff Ketcham, Hermen Hulst, Roy Lee, and Brad Van Arragon. Joe Menosky, Marc Bernardin, Tania Lotia, and Ben McGinnis function co-executive producers on the collection. Emmy®Award-winning director Frederick EO Toye (Shōgun, The Boys, fallout) has additionally signed on to direct the collection’ first two episodes.
