Former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman laid to rest in NW Iowa’s Sioux City
SIOUX CITY (KTIV) – Sioux City officers and members of the family introduced that former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman has been laid to rest in Northwest Iowa.
Family members say Foreman by no means forgot Iowa following a visit to the area in 1988, saying he wished to buried in the state. According to his household, Foreman usually spoke of the world’s panorama, together with the Loess Hills, and the sense of peace he felt throughout that go to.
