Five Disneyland employees hospitalized in hazmat situation at theme park

Five Disneyland employees have been hospitalized Tuesday after an odor in a backstage space at the park precipitated them to develop into dizzy and wanting breath.

Anaheim hearth officers responded to the theme park at 12:30 pm after receiving a report of an unknown scent in the Tomorrowland part of the park close to Star Tours, mentioned Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Matt Sutter.

Sutter initially mentioned 4 employees have been taken to the hospital with minor accidents, however Disneyland officers later mentioned 5 had been hospitalized. Several different employees have been handled by paramedics at the park, in keeping with Disneyland officers.

No park company have been affected, Sutter mentioned.

Disneyland officers mentioned constructing supplies utilized by a contractor backstage produced a response that led to the odor. Employees cleared company from the speedy space Tuesday afternoon as a precaution.
