David Lee Roth Sold His Publishing Catalog for Big Bucks, Feels “Rich”
David Lee Roth is rolling within the dough as of late, revealing he not too long ago offered his publishing catalog for a big sum of cash.
The Associated Press caught up with the previous Van Halen singer backstage earlier this month on the first weekend of Coachella, the place he made a shock look singing “Jump” with Teddy Swims.

In a video interview simply posted to YouTube (watch beneath), Roth mentioned, “I sold my publishing eight months ago,” and instructed the AP reporter to ask him how he feels. When the reporter obliged, Roth responded, “Rich! [laughs] For the first time in my life, I can rub two coins together and create a little interest. “No, really!”
