Colorado enters early recruiting race for 2028 quarterback James Armstrong
Colorado’s heightened recruiting deal with Pennsylvania continued Saturday, as class of 2028 quarterback James Armstrong introduced a suggestion from the Buffs.
Currently an unranked prospect from Aliquippa (Hopewell High School), Armstrong obtained his newest Power Four provide from new Colorado offensive coordinator Brennan Marionwho joined head coach Deion Sanders’ revamped workers in December. The 6-foot-3, 220-pound recruit was already accustomed to Colorado and thrilled to enter Marion’s recruiting radar.
“I like the school,” Armstrong instructed BuffInsider.com. “I’ve always liked Shedeur Sanders and the NFL status and history of Coach Prime. The school, it has a lot of aura, as you’d say. Overall, it’s just a cool school, and I was grateful to hear that I’ve received an offer from them.”
