Wrexham defender Callum Doyle will bear in mind his aspect’s assembly with Oxford United earlier this season higher than most – he was proven a straight crimson card.

Doyle, 22, was sent-off within the second half of the sport on the Stok Cae Ras in October, which Wrexham gained 1-0.

But sending off proved to be a blessing and a turning level for the Doyle’s season.

“It’s one of those moments that it’s a bad moment,” Doyle mentioned.

“But, in the grand scheme of things it’s not so bad about how I’ve changed my attitude towards training.

“And it has been good for me since that time.”

“At the beginning it wasn’t the most effective and on the time I used to be a bit down.

“But since then I think I’ve improved a lot and I think everyone can see around the building that my mood’s changed.”

Doyle has made a complete of 36 appearances in all competitions for Wrexham and was named within the Championship team of the season on the EFL awards.

“It’s a massive honour,” mentioned Doyle, who joined Wrexham for the present season from Manchester City.

“There’s a lot of talent in this league, but I feel really honored to be named in the team of the season.

“So, I’m very grateful.”
